We deliver developments on our clients behalf. Our approach is to manage developments as if they were our own. Our expert team thrives on taking the responsibility to deliver all aspects of development, offering a full service that can see your projects from acquisition through to completion.
Director
Ryan Williams
Ryan established RAW Developments & Construction in 2017, with a vision to take full responsibility of project delivery by providing turnkey development management and consulting services.
Ryan has demonstrated experience in managing multi-disciplined teams from the ground up, throughout South-East Queensland as well as the project management of Greenfield sites and both residential and commercial infrastructure.
With over 20 years of construction experience, Ryan started by planting his roots as a Carpentry Tradesman and quickly worked up the Principle Contractor ranks as a Mid-Tier Builder and now applies his hands on industry knowledge to Development Management.
Along the way, showing his dedication to the industry, he has extended his knowledge with a Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, First Class Honours and holds a current QBCC Builder Open Class & Nominee Supervisor.
In his spare time, Ryan likes to keep active as much as possible, enjoying action sports like kite surf, mountain bike, jujitsu. He is also a husband and father to two girls and active within his church community.

Our Expert Managers
Jason Gauld
Development Manager
Jason joined the RAW Team in 2020, with a well-established career in project and development management; including delivering apartment, mixed use, land and townhouse developments across South East Queensland.
Jason has extensive experience in problem solving, designing and planning, contract management and overseeing both internal and external teams.
Not only is Jason an experienced and broadly knowledgeable Development Manager, he has also achieved a Bachelor of Engineering, deepening his proficiency in his field.
In his spare time, you will often find Jason riding motorcycles, playing tennis, camping or enjoying the outdoors in general.
Kylie Waldock
Development Manager
Kylie has worked with Ryan since 2018 and brings over 20 years of experience in commercial, retirement and lifestyle project delivery, to the RAW Team.
Previously, Kylie managed the construction & operations of a HIA award-winning Fraser Coast Retirement Village group, as well as project managed investment portfolios, commercial premises, shop fitouts and medical centres as well as providing interior design and styling to various property types.
Her incredible attention to detail and passion to assist others to achieve, allows her to create strong relationships with all project stakeholders.
Blake Laud
Project Manager
Blake started as a Project Manager with the RAW Team in 2022, bringing 10 years of commercial construction experience and a wealth of knowledge across a number of different areas.
To date, his career has included different construction roles including managing a shop fitting business, business and operations manager, senior contract administrator and project manager. This has allowed him to have proven ability to develop comprehensive contract management plans and establish both head and subcontracts.
Blake also completed a Bachelor of Laws majoring in Contracts, which provides a key point of difference in understanding and providing advice on contracts and mitigating risks to stakeholders.
Blake excels in a team environment which allows him to continue to maintain healthy working relationships and build rapport with all stakeholders across different projects.
Rik James
Project Manager
Rik joins the RAW Team with a strong background and hands on experience in property development and project management.
Laying the foundations of his career successes, Rik has completed a Bachelor of Business and Property Development.
Being a strategic planner with a strong attention to detail, Rik excels in all areas of project coordination, from early contractor involvement to project delivery.
Rik builds rapport with stakeholders across all projects he works on. He is renowned for his positive attitude and passion to assist others, attributes that enable him to thrive in a team environment and foster great relationships.
wayne ahrens
construction manager
Wayne and Ryan have worked on projects together since 2003, and Wayne now joins the RAW Team as a Construction Manager, with almost 40 years experience in the building industry working his way through the ranks as a carpenter, estimator, project director, regional manager and company director.
Working across residential, commercial and land lease industries, some of Wayne’s career highlights include site management at the Sydney Olympic village and has completed over 30 projects in the Wide Bay region alone, totalling $85m.
Wayne is known for his budget and target control, positive team and culture building, and his enthusiasm for any project he undertakes puts him in high demand with stakeholders.

accounts & systems manager
Kristina has worked with Ryan since 2018 and joins the RAW Team with over 30 years experience in office, accounts and people management.
With a background in a variety of industries and organisational structures, Kristina has developed expert skills in negotiation and strategic problem solving, while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
Not only is she a team player, Kristina understands the strengths of her colleagues, encouraging collaboration to achieve project objectives.
Kristina has the ability to comprehend and utilise new software, allowing her to implement new systems and procedures improving efficiency across individual projects.
